About Catrece Dantzler
I am a native of New Orleans, La and have lived and worked in Alabama for nearly 20 years. I graduated with a Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Southern Christian University Montgomery in 2004 and a Doctorate of Education degree in Counselor, Education, and Supervision from Argosy University Sarasota in 2014. I have been married for almost thirty years and have been blessed with three wonderful children. My favorite pastime is watching Hallmark movies especially Christmas specials and traveling.
I have over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with adolescents that have been diagnosed with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, ODD, Conduct Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, as well as, Adjustment Disorders, high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders and Trauma.
I have worked with adults on Anger Management, Stress Management, Depression, Anxiety, and Bipolar, as well as, Substance Abuse, Parents Skills Training, Trauma and Crisis Management.
I have worked with Families on Reunification and Adjustment to Life Transitions. I have worked with couples on Marital and Premarital Counseling. In addition, I educate families on gaining a better understanding of how to manage mental health disorders. Moreover, I provide training and consultations to professional agencies and clients with specific concerns.
